TTMM: Redefining Time with Innovative Watchface Apps

Albert Salamon's Award-Winning Collection for Smartwatches

The TTMM collection was inspired by the website www.genuse.eu and was designed using Adobe Illustrator. The fonts for the watchfaces were prepared with Type Tool 3, and all bitmaps were edited on Adobe Photoshop. The programming was done using Pebble SDK and XCODE.

TTMM watchface apps are not only unique in design but also in their operation. They can be uploaded to Pebble watches through the free TTMM app for Android and iOS. The app allows users to view the design, read the description, buy, and upload 40 models of watchfaces.

The project, which started in May 2012 in Warsaw and finished in August 2013 in Elk in Poland, faced the challenge of designing a watchface collection for Pebble in a new and beautiful way. Salamon wanted to move away from the simulations of mechanical clocks and 80's LCD screens, which he saw as simulacrums of something that has now gone. He saw the new technology as providing a new "space" and wanted to take advantage of it in the right way.

The TTMM collection, with binary apps for Pebble ranging from 8 to 24 Kb, has been described as the most economical and ecological friendly watches ever to have existed. The collection, which includes designs such as Pebble, TTMM, watchface, smartwatch, Kreyos, app, watch, time, and clock, has been lauded for its innovative approach and aesthetic appeal.

In conclusion, Albert Salamon's TTMM collection is a testament to the power of innovative design and technology. It not only redefines the way we look at time but also how we interact with it. With its unique design and user-friendly interface, TTMM is indeed a worthy winner of the Golden A' Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design Award.
